Mindful Breastfeeding was created by Anna Le Grange, a lactation consultant with many years of experience working with families and intrinsically places emotional wellbeing at the centre of feeding support, by using evidence-based mindful feeding tools such as breathwork, guided relaxations, journalling and positive affirmations to empower you to reach your feeding goals.

This breast/chestfeeding preparation course which I am trained by The Mindful Breastfeeding School to deliver, is aimed to provide you with all the knowledge and tools to give you the best start to a calm and connected feeding relationship with your baby.
Whether this is your first baby and you have no experience of feeding and are feeling anxious or unprepared or whether you have tried to breastfeed with a previous baby and found it didn’t quite go the way you had planned, this course will support you to navigate your feeding journey confidently. Unlike any other breastfeeding course out there, this course goes above and beyond the practical elements of breastfeeding and equips you with tools for a calm and connected feeding journey.

The importance of a good latch and positioning
What to expect in the early days and following feeding cues
How to avoid common breastfeeding problems
How to bottle feed responsively
Planning for the early weeks
Mindfulness tools and techniques to feel calm and relaxed and how they can benefit your feeding and early parenting journey, including meditation, breathing, affirmations and journalling
Creating tailored breastfeeding affirmations
